by Danny James
Direct your greater share of persistence unto endeavours nobler than confined to ones own advantage and personal satisfactions. For long life is not a prospect to the human condition that Creation has extended, despite the slow and regardless manner in which humankind dispenses, and here is yet much to remedy. There are worthy and wanting ideals that will outlive you if inside your compass of breaths, you would apply a convened and gracious potency to such efforts as may contribute to the welfare of the entirety, – for what is a nation that lunging ahead leaves behind a few citizens in sufferance, if fortune will upon the strewn advance allow success its charity to bestow?
This is the challenge befitting us all, that excellence calls responsibility.
